We aim to provide complete high-quality care for the whole family in a coordinated fashion, and we have made a conscious effort to steer away from the rapid turnover, rushed "big clinic" medicine which is more commonplace these days. We encourage patients to be involved in the decision-making process and to take responsibility for their health.
Burton Street Family Practice is a purpose-built general practice with free on-site parking including 2 ACROD bays. Free street parking is also available, and we are conveniently located close to public transport. We have a disabled access toilet and baby change facilities for your convenience. Our spacious air-conditioned waiting room is wheel-chair accessible with a children's play area. We have a book exchange, and the practice matches all donations which support two charitable organisations a year.
Burton Street Family Practice has been accredited by Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) since 2007.
As an accredited practice, we promise to provide patients with high-quality care and are committed to ongoing quality improvements.
Teaching and Mentoring
Our practice is a Western Australian General Practice Education and Training Ltd (WAGPET) accredited practice. We are also a teaching practice for The University of Western Australia and Curtin University medical students.
Burton Street Family Practice is committed to reducing waste and have installed solar panels to reduce energy consumption. We actively participate in recycling and preferentially opt for electronic communication and record keeping.
